MRI Brain Signal Intensity and Relaxation Times in Individuals with Prior Exposure to Gadobutrol

2019
From a database of 33 107 patients who had received only gadobutrol, 160 study participants underwent a voluntary MRI examination to evaluate for brain signal intensity. Compared with 60 control participants, no visual signal intensity changes were identified at MRI; however, T1 relaxation times of the globus pallidus were 26 msec shorter on average and inversely correlated with the number of prior gadobutrol doses.
