Plasma and CSF HVA levels in panic patients with comorbid social phobia

The purpose of this study was to test the hypothesis that panic disorder (PD) with comorbid social phobia (SP) would be associated with abnormally low dopaminergic activity by examining CSF and plasma levels of the dopamine metabolite HVA in panic patients with SP (PD+SP), panic patients without SP (PD-SP), and a normal comparison group (NC)
