Shell-form power transformer modelling at high frequencies
1994
The electromagnetic duality principle is used for transformer modelling. The proposed method is presented. The calculation complexity of the rectangular winding parameters is reduced using a conformal mapping method and the boundary element method. The model parameters are directly calculated from the physical geometry by the finite element method or analytical formulations. The transformer modelling provides a good accuracy for the frequency dependent characteristics of the transformers. Comparisons between computation results and measurements are in good agreement. >
