EL CERRO DE CABEZUELOS (JÓDAR, JAÉN): UN ASENTAMIENTO DEL BRONCE FINAL EN EL ALTO GUADALQUIVIR
2016
The maing goal of this paper is to present the results obtained during the archaeological excavations carried out at the site of Cerro de Cabezuelos (Jodar, Jaen) during the months of September and October 1976. This site is a single phased settlement with oval houses and a perimeter wall protecting the most accessible areas, characteristics that respond to the system commonly used in the Culture of the Late Bronze Age of the Southeast at its peak moment (900-800 b.c.e). The morphometric and analytical study of a large sample of ceramics has allowed us to characterize ceramic production, enhancing the information we have regarding other sites that belong to this culture.
