Detection of Outside Threat in Different Cultures: Ecological, Cultural and Cognitive Factors of Effective Influence

Abstract : This is the final report concerning research on Grant FA9550-10-1-0443, under the AFOSR-BAA-2009-1 Socio-Cultural Modeling of Effective Influence program. This project focused on cross-cultural aspects of threat-detection, i.e. how people in different cultures have similar/different ways of construing the impact of such potential dangers as enemy groups, pollution and contamination, predators, etc.
