The invention discloses a double-screw air compressor, which belongs to an air compressor. The double-screw air compressor comprises a compressor host assembly and a driving assembly, wherein the compressor host assembly comprises a compressor body, a male rotor, a female rotor, a suction end cover, an exhaust end cover and an exhaust cover. The double-screw air compressor is characterized in that: the driving assembly is a permanent magnet synchronous motor; the permanent magnet synchronous motor comprises a motor shell, a motor rear cover, a motor front cover, a stator component, a rotor component and a motor shaft; the motor rear cover and the motor front cover are arranged on a left port and a right port in the length direction of the motor shell, the motor shell is fixed on the suction end cover, and the stator component is placed in a die cavity of the motor shell and fixed with the inner wall of the motor shell; and the motor shaft is formed by extending a male rotor shaft of the male rotor to the die cavity direction of the motor shell, and the rotor component is arranged on the motor shaft and corresponds to the stator component. The double-screw air compressor has the advantages of overcoming the defect of low efficiency of the primary asynchronous motor, obtaining a small integral volume, realizing multiple flexible arrangements, preventing the motor shaft from being magnetized, enabling the motor to work normally, having low cost and improving the running stability of the compressor.
