Stereophotogrammetric system for kinesiological studies

This paper describes an inexpensive, simple to implement and use photogrammetric system for the measurement of three dimensional live movements. Nonmetric optical devices are used. All external parameters of the system are surveyed. The internal parameters are estimated using known positional information of control points. Both relevant hardware characteristics and mathematical equations are supplied. The accuracy of a particular implementation of the system adequate for human locomotion studies is discussed.
