肿瘤血管生成是肿瘤增生、扩散和微转移灶发展的重要条件之一。目前，进行肿瘤血管研究所采用的血管内皮细胞技术平台主要有动物血管内皮细胞、人脐静脉内皮细胞、经肿瘤细胞或肿瘤环境诱导的人脐静脉内皮细胞，而肿瘤组织特异的内皮细胞则相对较少。
