The invention provides a grinding miller and a grinding method thereof. The grinding miller comprises a feeding device, a grinding device, a discharging device and a power source which drives the grinding device to work. The grinding device is provided with a grinding cavity, a grinding body feed port and a grinding body discharge port, wherein the grinding body feed port and the grinding body discharge port are respectively arranged at the upper end and the lower end of the grinding device and are communicated with the grinding cavity. A grinding tool is arranged inside the grinding cavity. The feeding device is arranged at the grinding body feed port of the grinding device in a rotary mode, and the rotating action of the feeding device drives the feeding device and the grinding body feed port to be in a communicated or closed state. A filtering device is further arranged at the grinding body discharge port in the grinding cavity. According to the grinding miller and the grinding method thereof, the rotating action of the feeding device drives the feeding device and the grinding body feed port to be in the communicated or closed state. In addition, grinding work is carried out when the communicated state is achieved, and rough air in the grinding cavity is used to wash grinding sample residues when the closed state is achieved. Meanwhile, the filtering device is arranged in the grinding cavity, a sample after being grinded can be filtered according to practical requirements.
