STUDIES ON CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS OF DENDROBIUM CHRYSOTOXUM LINDL.

Five compounds were isolated from stems of Dendrobium chrysotoxum Lindl..On thebasis of spectral(UV,IR, EI-MS, 1HNMR ,DIFNOE,13CNMR ) analysis ,they were identified asβ -sitosterol(I),2-hydroxy-1,5,6,7-tetramethoxyphenanthrene(II),erianin (III),confusarin(IV)and 3,4,5,3'4'-pentamethoxybibenzyl(V).II is a new compound named chrysotoxene,V isa new natural product named chrysotobibenzyl.
