Regulated intraocular lens device

2011
Adapted regulated intraocular lens (IOL) device is realized so as to be embedded in the lens capsule of a subject's eyes. IOL device comprises a membrane coupled to the refractive optical element and the front refractive optical element. Anterior refractive optical element and the membrane defines a cavity surrounded configured to include a fluid. At least a portion of the membrane is configured to contact a rear region of the lens capsule adjacent to the vitreous of a subject's eyes. Fluid contained within and is surrounded cavity adds the deformation or displacement forces to the front refractive optical element in response to the forward force on the membrane by the vitreous was added. IOL device may further comprise a haptic system positions the front refractive optical element, also constituting an additional means for adjusting engages the zonular and ciliary muscle.
