Studies on the Control Effect of Closed Forest on Dendrolimus punctatus Walker

The control effect of closed forest on Dendrolimus punctatus were studied in Chongren and Yugan counties in Jiangxi.The results showed that the closed forest is a safe,economical and effective measure of controlling Dendrolimus punctatus.By applying the measure of the closed forest,ecology environment of pine forests has been changed,biodiversity in pine forests increased,and the ability of integrated resistance of pine forests to Dendrolimus punctatus enhanced greatly in Chongren and Yugan counties.
