Oil-based ink composition

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition, composed of a specific alcoholic solvent, a specified organic compound and an oil-based metal-containing dye, hardly causing the leakage of an ink, blurring and bleeding of scripts, excellent in practicality and pen point drying resistance and useful as writing utensils, etc. CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is composed of (A) preferably 40-90wt.% ≤4C alcoholic solvent such as methanol, (B) preferably 5-25wt.% oil-based metal-containing dye and (C) preferably 1.0-20.0wt.% organic compound of the formula (R is H or 1-2C alkyl) such as 3-methyl-3-methoxybutanol.
