The given survey of literature, including references to the own researches, is dedicated to a very frequent clinical situation combination of GERD and IHD. The mutual severe effect on the course of both diseases is emphasized: pathological gastroesophageal reflux may be the releaser for the progression of stenocardia and for cardiac rhythm disorders, and pharmacotherapy of IHD promotes the worsening of gastroesophageal reflux. The possible optimal tactics of such patients' management is being discussed
