Analysis on Status of Soil pH Values of Standardized Farmlands in Jidong Town of Zhejiang Province

[Objective]The aim was to study the status of soil pH values of standardized farmlands in Jidong Town of Zhejiang Province. [Method] The 52 soil sampling units were analyzed, by methods of field investigation and laboratory analysis. [Result] The average soil pH value of standardized farmlands in Jidong Town was 4.96, and they were acidic. Only one sample was neutral(pH6.5-7.5).It was 1.92% of total number of survey samples, and was 1.78% of the total farmland area of standards. 25.01% second-class 3 and 8.27% second-class 4 fields of standard farmland soil were in a neutral or slightly acidic(pH5.5-7.5), and all third-class field was acidic or strongly acidicsoil(pH5.5). [Conclusion] It was suggested that should promote soil improvement with lime, organic fertilizer, soil testing and formulated fertilization, etc.
