MMP-9 Expression after Metallic Stent Placement in Patients with Colorectal Cancer: Association with In-Stent Restenosis

This study showed that high expression of MMP-9 is closely associated with stent-induced colorectal tissue hyperplasia, and the results support the hypothesis that MMP-9 has therapeutic potential in the treatment of stent-induced colorectal tissue hyperplasia.
