Nonisothermal Mass Transport of Organic Aqueous Solution in Hydrophobic Porous Membrane

1986
Membrane separation by the use of temperature difference as a driving force has been studied by many investigators. It is divided into four categories by the type of membranes employed: 1) thermoosmosis by dense membranes[1], 2) thermodialysis by porous membranes filled with solution[2], 3) membrane distillation by hydrophobic porous membranes filled with vapor[3], 4) thermopervaporation by dense membrane[4].
