Coolant mixing in a mixing chamber

Experimental and theoretical results are presented on nonstationary heat transfer in mixing chambers with various forms of density stratification. An integral model is proposed that incorporates the effects of gravitational forces on the heat-transport mechanism subject to various perturbations. It is shown that considerable errors can arise from the ideal-mixing model widely used in describing mixing chambers for certain transitional states.
