Study on Antitumor Activities of Rupi Mixture in vitro

Objective To observe the effect of Rupi Mixture on the proliferation, apoptosis of breast cancer MCF-7 cells. Methods The inhibition of Rupi Mixture on the MCF-7 cells growth was observed using MTT assay. The celI cycle and apoptosis after Rupi Mixture intervention was detected by flow cytometry. Results The high,middle,low dose of Rupi Mixture on MCF-7 cells inhibition rate(%) were 48.31, 36.56, 23.79.Different concentrations of Rupi Mixture all significantly inhibited the proliferation of MCF-7 cells(P0.01).The high,middle,low dose of Rupi Mixture of the apoptosis rates were 23.56%, 19.87%, 12.61%, Both the dose of high and middle Rupi Mixture were significantly higher than those in the negative control group, two groups of difference P0.05.Conclution Rupi Mixture can inhibit proliferation and promote the apoptosis of breast cancer MCF-7 cells.
