Superresolution in optical diffuse tomography

The possibility of improving image resolution in comparison with value which determined by «banana- zone» width was analyzed using photon average trajectories method. The limit of resolution determined by Nyquist's consequence of the Kotel'nikov-Shannon theorem and the ratio «signal-to-noise» is achieved using image reconstruction methods. According to these facts it was demonstrated that the resolution of the PAT method can be increase only two-three times more.
