DR7: 2-D Gel Patterns

The two-dimensional (2-D) gel analysis of the Workshop DR7 cell lines formed two distinctive patterns according to whether the cells were Dw17,DQw2 or Dw11,DQw9 (Table I). The DRβI chains of all DR7 cells, including both haplotypes, were indistinguishable with no evidence of detectable polymorphism in this analysis. This DRβI chain, designated DRβI-7 exhibited a characteristic mobility that distinguished it from other DRβI chains (Fig. 1).
