Study on Several Organic Degradations by Immobilized TiO_2 Photocatalyst

By choosing clinoptilolite as immobilization of TiO2,TiO2/clinoptiolite photocatalyst is synthesized by sol-gel method.Photocatalyst is characterized with IR,XRD,etc.Using the sun as the light source to degrade orgainc and photodegration rate as appraisal target,degradation tests to differnent structural organics show that degradation of TiO2/clinoptilolite photocatalyst has obvious selectivity.The photocatalysis effect of initial stages of TiO2/clinoptilolite depends on the sorption of clinoptilolite.The final photodegration rate is determined by molecular weight and electric charge of organic.The higher concentration of solution is,the lower photodegration rate is.
