Colored polyolefin fibers, the use thereof and processes for their preparation

Described are dyed with vat dye polyolefin fibers. These are characterized by a light fastness according to DIN EN ISO 105-B02 (at 50 ° C and 144 h exposure) of at least 5, a washing fastness according to DIN EN ISO 105-C08C of at least 4 and a fastness to rubbing according to DIN EN ISO 105-X12 dry of at least 3. Such polyolefin fibers are particularly suitable for formation of a fabric. A particularly advantageous process for the preparation of these polyolefin fibers or textiles is characterized in that the polyolefin fibers or textiles based on polyolefin fibers are subjected to a sufficiently long with vat dyes plasma treatment prior to inking. These colored with vat dyes polyolefin fibers are characterized by particularly good light, washing and rubbing.
