Editor Heidi Lobprise will be a familiar name to any veterinary surgeon with a particular interest in dentistry and contributors include a plethora of authorities on the subject. Excepting our own Dr Cecilia Gorrel, the majority are US-based authors. The US bias creates minor distinctions; for example, veterinary nurses are referred to as ‘technicians’.
