This is realized by investigating the use of CSR activities by the Turkish media companies to develop corporate reputation.  Furthermore, the strategic aspects of CSR and the increasing role of reputation in the corporate world have also been explored in our study.  In addition, the structure of media ownership, CSR project number and percentages, CSR categories and CSR topics of 84 newspapers and TV channels in the Turkish media sector are also analyzed. Also the Capital Magazine’s “CSR Leaders in Turkey and Most Admired Companies in Turkey” rankings among the media companies are compared within a duration of five years.
