Image Segmentation and Feature Analyses of Imitated Intense X-ray Spot Radiation Source

Imaging analysis has broad application prospects in the field of Intense X-ray Spot Radiation (IXSR) research. In this paper, the research works on image segmentation and feature analyses are carried out for the image of IXSR. Firstly, the images are gotten from the imitated intense X-ray spot radiation source system and pretreated with the median filter to reduce noise. Secondly, the X-ray spot is obtained from an image segmentation method with the improved threshold mechanism. And finally, the features of the X-ray spot are calculated, such as Grey Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM), area, perimeter, etc. The above research can help researchers understand the process of the IXSR better. A large number of experiments show the correctness and effectiveness of the algorithm designed in the paper.
