Rehabilitation of the cardiac patient.

Abstract A brief review of some of the problems met in the rehabilitation of the patient with cardiac disease with a discussion of some of the possible solutions to these problems is presented. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the physician-patient relationship, on the education of the patient and the public and on the recent advances in therapeutic and preventive medicine which have real or potential value in the rehabilitation of the cardiac patient.
