Greimas propone una primera descripcion de los mecanismos semioticos del plano discursivo, donde el concepto de figuratividad se delinea como un nivel textual relativamente autonomo. Con un enfoque filologico, este texto reconstruye y discute los principales nudos conceptuales del ensayo greimasiano, con un criterio diacronico mostrando el debate semiotico. English“Les Actants, Les Acteurs et les figures” (1973) is a central essay in the development of generative grammar. Greimas proposes here for the first time a description of the semiotic mechanisms of the discursive level; in this framework the figurative concept emerges as a relatively autonomous textual level within the generative trajectory of meaning. Using a “philological” approach to Greimas theory, in order to frame the unresolved issues within the diachronic development of the theory and the semiotic debate of the period, this paper discusses the main conceptual nodes of the essay.
