A method for synthesis of two-valued feedback circuits

1952
Ordinarily counting and memory circuits are synthesized in three stages. A setting circuit is designed, a resetting circuit is designed, and the two are connected to a basic memory circuit whose design is postulated. Methods described here reduce the problem to that of designing one circuit having integrated setting, resetting and memory facilities.
