Laparoscopic retrieval of a migrating intrapelvic pin: case report and review of the literature.

Migration of orthopedic implants is a well documented phenomenon. Prompt recognition and immediate retrieval may prevent significant and potentially fatal squelae. The following report describes a unique case in which laparoscopic techniques were successfully used to recover a migrating intrapelvic pin
