The Fault Criticality Evaluation Method of Airborne Equipment Based on AHP and Expert Experience

The aircraft system is an extremely large system. The aircraft system contains numerous airborne equipments. Aimming to the fault criticality evaluation of airborne equipment, the paper puts forward the concept of "fault criticality". The paper combines the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), which is an important analysis method. At the same time, the expert experience is used for the on-board equipment rating in the paper. With the aircraft electrical system as the research object in the paper, one set of flying maintenance record data is put into use in the paper. Through expert experience scoring, and combining the record data, the method is proved in the paper. Lastly, the result is proven its reliability and shows that the method is able to achieve effectively fault criticality evaluation.
