Estudo do Efeito da Microdermoabrasão no Tratamento de Estrias Atróficas: Estudo de Caso

Current research is a case study of a white 21-year-old female, to evaluate the effects of microdermoabrasion with crystals in the treatment of atrophic striae. Images were collected and a biopsy of a homogeneous stria was undertaken with procedures before and after treatment. The patient underwent ten sessions, one per week. Results showed an increase in fiberblasts with neovascularization, coupled to a return to algic sensitiveness and gradual normalization of the skin pigment and the restitution of the collagen filling. Microdermoabrasion with crystals may be a good option in the treatment of atrophic striae.
