New method of treatment of oropharyngeal leptotrichosis

: Thirty six patients with oropharyngeal leptotrichosis were examined and treated. Antistaphylococcal bacteriophage solution was used for their treatment. Tonsillar lacunae were washed with bacteriophage 2-3 times a week, the course of treatment included 6-8 washings. Thirty four patients showed clinical recovery shown as full clearance of the affected sites and elimination of subjective manifestations of leptotrichosis.
