Phase inhomogeneity of Pb2MoO5 single crystals

Abstract Pb 2 MoO 5 single crystals, obtained by the Czochralski method, find wide application in acousto-optical devices. Their optical properties depend on a number of factors, particularly on the purity and homogeneity of the starting charge. In this paper we determine the influence of the Pb 2 MoO 5 powder composition on the phase inhomogeneity of large dimensional Pb 2 MoO 5 single crystals.
