This main purpose of the study is to investigate how far transformational leadership contributes in developing quality of good teachers. Specifically, it examined the aspects of quality of good teachers and the best practices of transformational leadership. Thus, the insights of the relationship of the best practices of transformational leadership and the quality of good teachers provided facilitate the development of the model. Quantitative approach specifically, survey method was employed as it described the phenomenon extensively and holistically. In the study, 776 respondents namely, senior assistants, teachers and students participated in the survey. The relationship between practices of transformational leadership and quality of good teachers is found to be significant. The findings also revealed that three components which are risk taking, value driven and the desire for continuous learning contribute significantly towards the developing the quality of good teachers. The results of the study imply that the model recognizes and validates the experience of the transformational leaders. Thus, the model serves as the catalyst towards the interventions for teachers’ development in teacher education. Therefore, the development of quality of good teachers by the influence of transformational leadership should be integrated in curriculum planning, co curriculum implementation and enjoyment activities with the community.
