PRODUCTION OF ALLOYED POWDERS FROM CONSTRUCTIONAL STEELS IN THE CIS

The main lines of development are considered for the industrial production of alloy steel powders. Descriptions are given of the characteristics for partially and homogeneously alloyed iron powders and the mechanical properties of steels based on them. Prospects are considered for devising techniques for making powder steels with good working properties.
