Blood sugar in diabetic patients and peripheral venous differences of blood glucose testing

2009
Objective: To observe the blood sugar in diabetic patients with peripheral venous blood glucose test results fast correlation. Methods: Detection of automatic biochemical analyzer fasting diabetic patients, postprandial 2 hours and 6 hours and at the same time blood glucose meter using the same rapid peripheral blood of patients with blood glucose monitoring, and the results of statistical analysis. Results: The two detection methods of fasting, postprandial 2 hours and 6 hours of mean comparison and correlation analysis, although the peripheral venous blood higher than in blood sugar levels higher blood sugar levels, but the difference was no significant. Conclusion: Measurement of blood glucose meters in the framework of the two methods are reliable, but limited the scope to measure blood glucose as stable biochemical analyzer.
