A process for the production of potassium chloride granules

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of potassium chloride granules of a crystalline potassium chloride raw material, which comprises treating the potassium chloride raw material prior to granulation with at least one alkali metal carbonate and at least one hydrogen phosphate additive in the presence of water. The invention also relates to the obtainable by the process potassium chloride granules.
