Resistance thermometer as a very simple microcalorimeter
1995
Abstract Modification of an adiabatic heat pulse method is proposed for specific heat measurements at low temperatures in which a resistance thermometer also serves as heater for the sample. Specific heat data of Cu(C 2 H 8 N 2 ) (H 2 O) 2 SO 4 from 2 to 9 K measured using the modified method agree reasonably well with those obtained using a classical approach.
