[Sexuality and Alzheimer's in care facilities].

2014
: Sexuality of people with Alzheimer's disease is often prohibited in care facilities because its manitestations are considered harmful for the residents and the facility. Ethics of welfare implemented in care facilities require respect for the emotional and sexual lives of residents. Restoring sexual desire in care facilities can be achieved by adopting a humanistic approach that focuses on the development and personal fulfilment of individuals in every sphere of their lives, including sexuality.
