An investigation on preparation and optical properties of PbTiO3 ultrafine powder/epoxy composites

Abstract PbTiO3 (PT) ultrafine powder/epoxy 0-3 fine composites have been successfully prepared under application of external electric field during solidification. Shifting of x-ray diffraction (XDR) peaks and optical absorption edge of the composites were observed. Changes of dielectric properties, scattered light and transmitted light were carefully investigated. Second harmonic generation(SHG) effect of the composites was measured.
