A process for producing stable dispersible magnetic iron oxide single-core nanoparticles are stably dispersible magnetic iron oxide single-core nanoparticles and uses thereof

2015
The present invention relates to magnetic single-core nanoparticles, and in particular stably dispersible magnetic single-core nanoparticles (eg. As single-core magnetite nanoparticles) having a diameter between 20 and 200 nm in different morphology and their continuous aqueous synthesis, in particular by means of micromixers , The method is simple, fast and inexpensive to carry out and requires no organic solvent from. The single-core nanoparticles produced by the method of forming stable dispersions in aqueous media of ie they do not tend to assembly or aggregation. Moreover, the method offers the possibility of producing anisotropic, superparamagnetic, platelet-shaped nanoparticles, which are excellent because of their shape anisotropy for use in polymeric matrices for the magnetic field-controlled release of active ingredients.
