Research on the New Ferroelectric Copolymer of Poly- (Vinylidene Fluoride-Hexafluoropropylene)

Poly (vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene)[P(VDF-HFP)] is a new member of PVDF family that has been paid serious attention to. It has significant electroactivity including ferro-, piezo-, pyro-electricity, especially the electrostriction coefficient can be up to 1700pm/V. In this paper, the situation and development for the new kind of copolymer are reviewed based on the latest research results of domestic and foreign, as well as ours.
