The chlorenchyma of some members of the Salicornieae (Chenopodiaceae).

Thirty-three taxa belonging to the tribe Salicornieae have been examined for 6I3C ratios, and the anatomy of 19 of these taxa has also been examined. The results indicate that only the Halosarcia indica group has 6I3C ratios and anatomy consistent with a C, photosynthetic pathway.
