13387 - Distribuição espacial de uma população de Carapa guianensis em parcela permanente na floresta primária da região de Parintins, Amazonas.

2013
The Carapa guianensis is a significant specie of value for nature and for humans. Tree of multiple use, widely used as wood and in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. This study aimed to survey the population Andiroba and analyze the spatial distribution of permanent plot in a tropical rain forest in the region Parintins. Were all the individuals Andiroba within the plot, both young and adult individuals; measured up the circumference at breast height (CAP) with metrical tape, turning it into diameter at breast height (DAP), and estimated the height. In the area Individuals are grouped, evidenced by the Morisita index obtained R = 6.73. The diameter distribution shows a tendency of having a J-shaped relationship with forests balanced, with the number of samples in classes smaller diameter is larger than the largest classes.
