Locking mechanism for foldable vehicle for transport

A locking mechanism for a foldable vehicle for transport. Between left and right wheel frames (1 or 2), either is provided with a fixed column (3) while the opposite wheel frame is provided with a locking hook (5) having a rotary shaft (4). The locking hook (5) is provided with a forward rotation pull cable (6) and a reverse rotation pull cable (7). The forward rotation pull cable (6) is connected to a hand brake (8). The reverse rotation pull cable (7) is connected to a pedal (9). Because folding joints can be locked when a vehicle frame is unfolded, structural stability of the vehicle in a riding state is ensured, the folding joints are prevented from closing automatically, and travel safety is increased. Locking and unlocking structures of the locking mechanism are simple and convenient to operate and obviate complex quick-release accessories and assembly/disassembly processes.
