Radio tracking based on Time-Modulated Array

A novel radio tracking system is proposed by a two-element time modulated array (TMA). By estimating the spectrum of incident signal after time modulation, the system produces control signal and rotates the platform to tracking the source. The signal processing of the proposed method relies on two-point discrete Fourier transform (DFT). Its system complexity is low since only one RF channel is required. Simulation is conducted to verify its effectiveness.
