The Treatment of Nasal Cancer with the Endoscopic Assisted

Objective: To investigate clinical effect the endoscope assisted resection of nasal malignant tumor.Method: In our hospital from Mar.2003 to May 2006,36 cases of malignant tumor of nasal cavity and sinus inpatients with clinical data were retrospectively analyzed,used nasal endoscope assisted tumour excision,and observed the curative effect.Result: 36 patients in the group were operated successfully,the success rate of the operation was 100%,all of the patients had endoscopic or nasal endoscope assisted successfully complete tumor resection,postoperative intracranial hematoma in 1 case,eye movement disorders in 1 case,There's no other complications.36 patients on a period of 5 years follow-up,the 1 year survival rate was 94.4%(31 / 36),the 3 years survival rate was 69.4%(25 / 36),the 5 years survival rate was 36.1%(13 / 36).Conclusion: Endoscopic assisted resection of malignant tumor of nasal cavity and sinus is effective,with less complications,with high rate a short survival,it is worthy of application.
