Background The purpose of this study was to elucidate the role of nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) in the development of gastric ischemia-reperfusion (GI-R) injury and in mediating the effects of angiotensin II (Ang II) in the paraventricular nucleus (PVN) on GI-R injury.
