The present research of a documentary, descriptive, and qualitative nature, through the search, compilation, selection, organization, arrangement, analysis of information and bibliographic sources, aims to establish relationships, differences, stages, positions or current state of knowledge of the contextualization of the generation distributed by cogeneration systems and alternative energies in Colombia.
